At Vintage Sissi, you'll find jewelry from many different eras. Some of these pieces may have lain for years in one of these beautiful boxes – preserved, worn, passed down.

It's not just about sustainability. Much of what was formerly crafted by goldsmiths and silversmiths is hardly made in that form today. Some of the techniques of that time are rarely mastered anymore or are so time-consuming and expensive that they are hardly ever used. It is precisely these delicate works and visible craftsmanship that make each piece so special.

That's why I find it particularly regrettable when such jewelry is simply melted down. Because not only material is lost, but also a part of craftsmanship and history.

For me, vintage jewelry means passing on a piece of culture – from hand to hand, over generations.
